Who you are

You are customer obsessed and have a strong understanding of cloud technologies — your experience in guiding customers through their cloud journey is invaluable. With a proven track record in large-scale cloud transformations, you excel at collaborating with diverse teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to interface effectively with both customer and AWS leadership. Your ability to drive collaboration between core account groups, including Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services, is a key strength that you bring to the role.

Your strategic mindset allows you to translate initiatives into executable actions, ensuring that customer milestones are met. You are adept at managing cadence through reporting and tracking functions, which are critical to the success of customer engagements.

You have a deep understanding of operational, educational, and governance aspects of cloud adoption, which positions you as a critical partner to customers navigating their AWS journey. Your ability to lead education plans and support major workload migrations showcases your commitment to customer success.

Desirable

Experience with multi-year cloud transformation projects is a plus, as is familiarity with AWS services and solutions. Your background in customer success or account management will further enhance your ability to drive results in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Customer Solutions Manager at Amazon Web Services, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their multi-year journey to the cloud. You will ensure that all AWS teams work together effectively to deliver outcomes that meet customer needs. Your role will involve interfacing with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between various account groups, and planning major workload migrations.

You will translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans, working backwards from key customer milestones. Your responsibilities will include managing cadence through reporting and tracking functions, leading education plans, and supporting go-live events and transitions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that customers achieve their desired business outcomes through effective cloud adoption.

Your ability to foster collaboration among teams will be essential as you work to align AWS resources with customer objectives. You will be responsible for executing education plans and facilitating Executive Briefing Sessions, which are critical to the success of customer engagements. Your leadership will help shepherd customers through the operational and governance aspects of their cloud journey.
