What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Tigera, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our Calico platform, which is designed to secure Kubernetes clusters. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain features that improve network security and observability. Your responsibilities will include writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and participating in architectural discussions to ensure the scalability and reliability of our solutions. You will also engage with the open-source community, contributing to projects and gathering feedback to drive improvements.

You will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues that arise in production environments, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of performance and security. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers will be essential as you work to align our technical capabilities with customer needs. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers.
