What you'll do

As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of our data centers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance. Your expertise will help maintain an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%, which is vital for our global digital experiences.

You will conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems, including diesel generators, UPSs, and cooling equipment. Your hands-on approach will allow you to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring seamless operations. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall performance.

In addition to maintenance tasks, you will assist in the installation and configuration of new equipment, contributing to the continuous improvement of our data center infrastructure. You will document your work and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
