Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and the ability to work in EST/CST time zones.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are excited about the opportunity to bring the Internet of Things to mid-sized customers. You thrive in a role that requires building relationships with multiple stakeholders and managing complex negotiations. Your experience includes working with executives and CXOs, and you are comfortable discussing technical solutions with clients. You are adaptable and can work effectively across different time zones, particularly EST and CST, as this role requires flexibility in your working hours. You are also willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and support sales efforts.
Experience in selling IoT solutions or technology products is a plus, as is familiarity with industries such as agriculture, construction, or transportation. You are data-driven and understand how to leverage insights to drive sales strategies. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate the value of complex solutions to diverse audiences.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales to mid-sized customers, helping them harness IoT data to improve their operations. You will engage in sales processes that typically involve transactions ranging from $20k to $100k, which may include proof of concepts, trials, and multi-faceted pricing negotiations. Your ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders will be crucial as you work to close deals and expand Samsara's presence in the market. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are tailored to their specific requirements. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Samsara's solutions.
