Contentful is seeking an Enterprise Business Development Representative to drive new business and manage lead pipelines. You'll utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to identify opportunities and support the sales team. This role requires previous experience in a similar sales position.

Job Description

Who you are

You have previous experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment. You are skilled in managing lead pipelines and have a strong understanding of sales prospecting techniques. Your adaptable approach allows you to engage effectively with prospects and maintain relationships. You are comfortable using Salesforce and other sales tools to track and manage leads. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving sales goals. You understand the importance of collaboration and are eager to partner with Account Executives to refine your skills through feedback and mentorship.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities and managing the lead pipeline. You will document and strategize using various details to better understand how to prospect and find new opportunities in both new and existing accounts. You will maintain active engagement with existing leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and personalized communication. You will work closely with Enterprise and Senior Account Executives to build their pipelines and achieve monthly and quarterly goals for qualified opportunities and meetings booked. You will utilize Salesforce.com for lead management and sales forecasting, ensuring that all information is up-to-date. Additionally, you will engage with other sales tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo to enhance your prospecting efforts.
