dLocal is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer to develop and lead the Sales Engineering function. You'll blend technical expertise with people leadership to deliver exceptional technical support throughout the sales cycle. This role requires strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
You have a proven track record in sales engineering, with experience leading teams and developing strategies that enhance customer engagement. Your technical expertise allows you to understand complex payment solutions, and you thrive in a customer-centric environment where you can make a significant impact. You possess strong coaching and mentoring skills, enabling you to guide your team effectively while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You are adept at working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to design scalable solutions that meet customer needs. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed.
Experience in the payments industry or with financial technology solutions would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with emerging markets and their unique challenges can help you navigate the complexities of this role. A background in software development or technical support can also enhance your effectiveness in this position, allowing you to bridge the gap between technical and commercial teams.
