Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines that support business operations and analytics. You'll work with data pipeline architecture and business intelligence tools in a hybrid role based in Bangalore.
You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and data warehousing. You are skilled in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that support business operations and analytics. Your experience includes collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translating them into technical solutions. You are proactive in implementing data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and integrity. You have a knack for optimizing data pipelines for performance and efficiency, and you are adept at troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering is important to you, and you are eager to strategically apply AI tools within your team's domain to improve project execution and system design.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Smartsheet's data warehouse. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand their data requirements, ensuring that the technical solutions you provide meet their needs.
