Carvana is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee transportation operations and manage multiple teams at their Oklahoma City location. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure efficient logistics operations.
You have experience in logistics management and are skilled at overseeing transportation operations. You understand the importance of aligning site-specific goals with effective execution and have a track record of mentoring and developing teams. You are committed to maintaining workplace safety standards and ensuring effective communication with internal teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at evaluating and addressing operational issues.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day transportation operations at the assigned Logistics Field Operation location. You will participate in the development of site-specific goals and objectives, ensuring alignment and effective execution within the site. You will review and evaluate daily route schedules, working closely with Logistics Operations Planning and Scheduling to address any issues or deficiencies. You will provide mentoring and accountability to your direct reports, focusing on their professional development through coaching, leadership development, and performance management. Additionally, you will ensure that work areas meet or exceed applicable workplace safety standards, including yard cleanliness, and will conduct GEMBA walks to assess operations on the ground.
Carvana offers a full-time salary position with a pay range of $54,000 to $67,000 annually. You will enjoy 100% company-paid medical for yourself, along with family discounts, paid time off including your birthday, and a 401k with company match.
