SpaceX is seeking a Test Specialist for their Starlink project to support satellite hardware testing. You'll work closely with engineers and utilize your skills in mechanical and electrical disciplines. This role requires hands-on experience in multidisciplinary testing.
You are an experienced test specialist with a strong affinity for multidisciplinary testing and problem-solving. You have a background in both mechanical and electrical disciplines, and you thrive in hands-on environments. Your ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-paced situations makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are self-motivated and enjoy collaborating with engineers to ensure the success of satellite hardware testing throughout the design and build processes.
You have a proven track record of assembling, instrumenting, and testing satellite flight hardware during various development phases. Your experience includes monitoring and assessing test asset performance throughout qualification campaigns. You are skilled in activating, evaluating, and maintaining space simulation test equipment, including Thermal, Thermal Vacuum, HASS/HALT, Vibration, and Shock testing.
Your expertise extends to the assembly, activation, and troubleshooting of custom test racks and automated equipment interfaces, which enhance test lab capabilities and improve unit test quality. You are familiar with structural test builds and execution for both large- and small-scale satellite components, demonstrating your versatility in handling different testing scenarios.
You have experience working with multidisciplinary teams and understand the importance of collaboration in achieving project goals. Your ability to communicate effectively with engineers and other stakeholders is a key asset. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve testing processes and outcomes.
