Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your ability to match and mix paint colors effectively. Your expertise in using water-based paint ensures high-quality finishes on vehicles. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including mandatory overtime when necessary. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable

Experience with state-of-the-art painting tools and techniques is a plus, as is familiarity with high-tech inspection processes. You are eager to learn and grow within the company, taking advantage of training programs that enhance your skills and career progression. What you'll do

As an Auto Painter at Carvana, you will work in a high-tech Inspection Center, utilizing advanced tools to paint vehicles to the highest standards. Your primary responsibility will be to match and mix paint colors accurately, ensuring that each vehicle meets our quality expectations. You will work within paint booths, applying water-based paint to various vehicle surfaces, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that vehicles are painted efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the operation.

You will also be expected to adhere to safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working order. Your role may involve some level of training for entry-level painters, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them develop in their positions. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and strives to meet customer expectations consistently.
