Overview

Google is seeking an Account Strategist for SMB Sales to manage client relationships and drive growth through effective advertising strategies. You'll leverage your experience in digital advertising and performance marketing to achieve client success in Dublin.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or marketing roles. You are fluent in English and Romanian, enabling you to effectively manage client relationships in the CEE region. Your experience includes strategically assessing and achieving agency/client success through effective questioning, objection handling, and storytelling. You have a solid understanding of managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing, and you are knowledgeable about online marketing strategies and tactics.

You take ownership of your portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, consistently overachieving quotas to drive growth. You are passionate about sales and committed to maximizing customer success, acting like an owner and moving swiftly through change. You find innovative and strategic ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and your customers. Building trusted relationships with customers is second nature to you, as you uncover their business needs and translate them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals.

Desirable

Experience in the AI-era of advertising is a plus, as you will shape the future of advertising while making a real impact on millions of companies and billions of users that trust Google. Your ability to drive customer growth by delivering outstanding business experiences will be crucial in achieving customer business and marketing objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own a portfolio of small businesses, thoroughly understanding their growth drivers and identifying opportunities for growth. You will manage risks and build quarterly plans for achievement, ensuring that your clients receive the best return on their Google Ads investment.
