What you'll do

As a Senior Counsel at OpenAI, you will be the primary legal advisor for the consumer hardware product development teams. You will work closely with operations, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure that all products comply with applicable laws and regulations. Your role will involve identifying and addressing legal risks related to product packaging, labeling, and user documentation. You will develop and implement strategies for handling legal issues in innovative ways, ensuring that the company can scale its operations while managing risk effectively. You will also become an expert in AI-embedded consumer hardware products, helping to shape legal policy positions that align with OpenAI's mission.
