Tecovas is seeking a Junior Apparel Designer to support their apparel design team for men's and women's product lines. You'll assist in creating seasonal collections and maintaining design archives, requiring familiarity with design software and garment construction.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, or Industrial Design, or equivalent experience. With 2–5 years of relevant experience in apparel design, you are familiar with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and you understand garment construction, fabrics, and trims. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing design projects while learning and growing your skills in a creative environment.
As a Junior Apparel Designer at Tecovas, you will assist with the creation of seasonal apparel collections, including CADs, tech packs, and presentation materials. You will maintain organized fabric, trim, lab dip, and artwork archives, ensuring that all design details are accurately captured. Supporting fittings, you will document design changes and next steps, updating tech packs with precise information. Additionally, you will research trends and markets to bring fresh ideas that align with the brand's vision, contributing to the overall design process.
