Monzo is seeking a Senior Stress Testing Analyst to design and deliver the stress testing framework. You'll work across the full lifecycle of stress testing and present complex analyses to senior stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in financial risk management.
You have a strong background in financial risk management, with experience in stress testing methodologies and scenario development. You are comfortable working with complex data and have the ability to interpret and present results to executive-level audiences. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to confidently own and explain complex analyses. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to improve processes and outcomes.
Experience in the banking or fintech sector is a plus, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements related to stress testing. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are always looking for ways to enhance existing frameworks and methodologies. Your communication skills are excellent, enabling you to convey technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
In this role, you will design, lead, and deliver Monzo's stress testing framework, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and internal standards. You will work closely with the Financial Risk Team to develop stress testing scenarios and methodologies that accurately reflect potential risks. Your responsibilities will include running models, interpreting outputs, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and the wider business. You will also play a key role in building and improving processes related to stress testing, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
