You have a strong background in information security, with at least 8 years of experience in the field. Your expertise includes cloud security, and you are well-versed in implementing security measures across various platforms. You have a deep understanding of security protocols and frameworks, and you are skilled in identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating risks. Your experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures enables you to design secure systems that protect sensitive data. You are proficient in using tools like Docker and Kubernetes for container security, and you have a solid grasp of networking concepts and security best practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Desirable

Experience with security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA is a plus. Familiarity with security tools like Elasticsearch for log analysis and monitoring will be beneficial. You may also have experience with incident response and threat hunting, which will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Principal Engineer, you will mentor and guide junior team members, helping them grow their skills and knowledge in information security. You will stay updated on the latest security trends and threats, adapting strategies to mitigate risks effectively. Additionally, you will participate in incident response activities, working to resolve security incidents and improve the overall security posture of the organization.
