Delivery Partner Manager

Who you are

You have a strong background in managing commercial relationships and operational performance, ideally with experience in logistics or delivery services. You excel in stakeholder management and are adept at data-led decision-making, ensuring that partners meet contractual commitments and service levels. Your ability to maintain productive, long-term relationships while holding partners accountable is key to your success in this role. You understand the importance of customer experience and are committed to driving continuous improvement across the delivery network.

You are comfortable analyzing operational and commercial performance data to inform decisions and recommendations. Your experience includes producing clear performance reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with various teams such as Operations, Transport Planning, Finance, and Legal to support partner performance and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Desirable

Experience in contract management and negotiation is a plus, as is familiarity with performance metrics and KPIs in a delivery context. You may have a background in project management or operations, which will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

As the Delivery Partner Manager, you will own the commercial relationship with assigned Delivery Service Partners across the full contract lifecycle. This includes supporting contract renewals, variations, and commercial discussions in collaboration with Legal and Finance. You will monitor partner performance against service, quality, and cost KPIs, conducting performance reviews to ensure alignment with expectations.

Your role will involve analyzing operational and commercial performance data to inform decisions and recommendations, producing clear performance reporting for senior stakeholders. You will act as the voice of the delivery partners, ensuring that incidents are reported immediately and health and safety-related concerns are raised proactively. Your focus will be on protecting customer experience, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement across the delivery network.
