Job Description

Who you are

You are a builder and educator at heart, someone who loves breaking down complex topics and presenting at events. With a strong technical background, you have experience in creating demos that make technology tangible for developers. You thrive on inspiring and educating users, ensuring they understand how to leverage the capabilities of platforms like Neon. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences sets you apart. You are comfortable writing technical blog posts, creating video guides, and delivering workshops that engage the developer community. You have a collaborative spirit and enjoy working closely with product and engineering teams to align developer needs with product development.

What you'll do

As a Developer Advocate on the Neon DevRel team, you will be a crucial link between our engineering teams and the community of application developers. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of educational and knowledge-sharing activities. You will create technical blog posts and video guides that help developers understand Neon’s unique capabilities, such as branching for preview environments. You will build demo projects and developer tools that showcase how to effectively use Neon. Additionally, you will deliver workshops and conference talks, sharing your insights and expertise with a broader audience. Your efforts will help highlight Neon’s architecture and our technical passion to the developer community. You will work closely with the neon.com community, ensuring that developer needs are met and that product development remains aligned with user feedback. Reporting into the DevRel team, you will collaborate with fellow advocates and program managers to create and execute a cohesive education strategy that resonates with developers.

We offer a supportive environment where you can grow your skills and make a significant impact on the developer community. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology and education. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in shaping the future of data and application development.
