Klaviyo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Automation team, responsible for designing and maintaining analytics tools. You'll work with AWS and Python to enhance Klaviyo's data platform. This role requires significant experience in software engineering.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining data-driven applications. Your background includes working with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and you are comfortable with programming languages such as Python and Java. You understand the importance of data automation and have a passion for creating efficient systems that enhance data accessibility and usability.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex engineering challenges. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to design, build, and optimize tools that support data analytics and insights generation. You are proactive in learning new technologies and methodologies to improve your work and the team's output.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Automation team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tools that streamline data provisioning and usage across Klaviyo's platform. You will work closely with data platform engineers to ensure that the infrastructure supports core functionalities and generates actionable insights.

Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting thorough testing to ensure reliability and performance. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and contributing to the overall quality of the codebase.

You will also engage in problem-solving sessions, where you will collaborate with team members to identify and address technical challenges. Your insights will help shape the direction of the team's projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Klaviyo's goals.
