Netflix is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join the Content Data Management team. You'll focus on maintaining data quality for operational datasets, particularly the Person ID dataset for Cast and Crew. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with various teams.
You have a strong background in data analysis and quality management, with experience in maintaining and improving data integrity across large datasets. You understand the importance of structured data and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that data quality is upheld in all aspects of your work. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to drive improvements in data processes and guidelines. Your communication skills allow you to effectively educate users on data quality best practices and support them in utilizing data effectively. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance data quality and usability.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of the Person ID dataset, which is crucial for various functions within the Content, Production, Business, and Legal teams. You will work closely with product teams to ensure that the data being utilized adds value to their products. Your day-to-day tasks will involve monitoring data quality, conducting analyses to identify discrepancies, and implementing processes to improve data accuracy. You will also provide support for application users, assisting them with any Person ID-related inquiries and ensuring they have the resources needed to work effectively with the data. Continuous improvement will be a key focus, as you will shepherd initiatives aimed at enhancing the talent dataset across multiple domains.
