Overview

BitGo is seeking a Sales Director to lead the Fintech Sales team, focusing on high-value institutional relationships. This role requires expertise in consultative sales within the fintech sector and offers a competitive compensation package including equity.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the fintech and financial services sectors, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior sales role. You excel in consultative sales, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain complex, high-value institutional relationships. Your understanding of the digital asset landscape allows you to navigate client needs effectively, ensuring that you can deliver tailored solutions that drive revenue growth.

You thrive in a high-growth environment and are motivated by the challenge of acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate the value of BitGo's offerings to diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership. You are adept at managing a sales pipeline, utilizing data-driven strategies to prioritize opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Desirable

Experience in the cryptocurrency or digital asset space is a plus, as is familiarity with institutional sales processes. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to the evolving needs of the market. A network of contacts within the fintech industry can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As the Sales Director at BitGo, you will own the full sales lifecycle for fintech and payments-focused institutional clients, from prospecting through to close, onboarding, and expansion. You will develop and manage a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities, driving new logo acquisition and revenue growth across fintech, payments, and financial services customers. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that client needs are met and that BitGo's solutions are effectively positioned in the market.

You will be responsible for setting and achieving sales targets, utilizing your expertise to identify and pursue strategic opportunities that align with BitGo's growth objectives. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients will be key to your success, as you work to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
