Voodoo is seeking a Game Economy Manager for Beach Bum to design and manage game economies that enhance player engagement and revenue. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with various teams to align game economy strategies with business goals.
You have at least 1 year of experience in game economy management or a related field, demonstrating your ability to design and manage in-game economies effectively. You possess a strong analytical mindset, allowing you to track economy KPIs and player behavior to identify and resolve issues proactively. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the game economy are balanced and fair for players, enhancing their overall experience. You are initiative-driven with a strong can-do attitude, capable of multitasking and managing multiple responsibilities while prioritizing effectively. As a team player, you communicate reliably and responsibly across different teams, fostering collaboration and alignment on game goals.
In this role, you will own the design and day-to-day management of the game economy, ensuring it supports core gameplay and feels fair and fun for players. You will balance free and paid economies, including virtual goods pricing and in-game rewards, to drive engagement and revenue. Your responsibilities will include tracking economy KPIs and player behavior to spot issues early and fix imbalances before they hurt retention or monetization. You will work closely with product and business stakeholders to align economy decisions with game goals and revenue targets. Additionally, you will build and analyze economy models, simulations, and A/B tests to guide data-driven changes. Partnering closely with analytics, product, monetization, and development teams, you will plan, ship, and iterate on economy features to enhance player satisfaction and business outcomes.
