What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Personalization team at Contentful, you will lead a senior, cross-functional engineering team responsible for building and enhancing the personalization and experimentation capabilities of the platform. You will take end-to-end ownership of how customers manage and deliver personalized content across various channels, including SDKs, APIs, UIs, and marketplace apps.

You will drive the technical direction of the team, making architectural and design decisions that enable real-time, edge-powered experiences. Collaborating closely with product and design teams, you will align the engineering roadmap with customer needs and business outcomes, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality features that resonate with users.

Your role will involve coaching and empowering engineers, providing them with the context and trust they need to excel in their work. You will foster a team culture that values collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, helping team members grow their skills and impact.

You will also be responsible for managing the team's performance, conducting regular one-on-ones, and facilitating career development discussions. Your leadership will help create an environment where engineers feel supported and motivated to contribute their best work.
