Overview

Tenable is seeking a Security Engineer for Pre-Sales to support demos and evaluations of enterprise opportunities. You'll leverage technical expertise to drive sales and assist in developing business value propositions. This role requires strong account management skills and a customer-focused approach.

Who you are

You have a solid background in cybersecurity and a passion for helping customers understand and reduce their cyber risk. With experience in technical sales or pre-sales engineering, you are adept at delivering technical presentations and demos that showcase the value of cybersecurity solutions. Your consultative approach allows you to answer technical questions and provide expertise in security and compliance, ensuring that potential customers feel confident in their decisions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

Desirable

Experience with enterprise software trials and 'Proof of Concept' evaluations is a plus, as is familiarity with Tenable's products and solutions. You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and can adapt to the fast-paced nature of the cybersecurity industry. A background in account management or customer success will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will deliver technical presentations and demos of Tenable's enterprise products, showcasing their capabilities to potential customers. You will manage enterprise software trials and assist in conducting 'Proof of Concept' evaluations, ensuring that customers can see the value of Tenable's solutions firsthand. Your ability to answer technical questions and provide consultative security and compliance expertise will be crucial in driving sales and building strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with the sales team to develop business value propositions around Tenable's products, helping to articulate the benefits and ROI to prospective customers.
