Overview

Amazon is seeking a Site Process Engineer to join the EU Process Engineering team in Pforzheim. You'll drive process stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. This role requires strong collaboration with operational leaders and a focus on technological advancements.

You have a background in process engineering and a passion for driving operational excellence. You understand the importance of process stabilization and standardization in a fast-paced environment, and you thrive on continuous improvement initiatives. Your experience allows you to effectively collaborate with various teams, ensuring that operational leaders are equipped with the necessary expertise to achieve their goals.

You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at identifying areas for improvement within complex processes. Your ability to build relationships and network within the organization is key to your success in this role. You are committed to delivering high-quality results and ensuring compliance with established initiatives.

Desirable

Experience in a fulfillment or logistics environment is a plus, as is familiarity with technological advancements in process engineering. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and have a track record of successfully implementing initiatives that enhance operational performance.

What you'll do

As a Site Process Engineer, you will work closely with the EU PE team to drive process improvements across the Customer Fulfillment Network. Your responsibilities will include deploying initiatives that enhance process performance and collaborating with various teams, including Process System Engineering and operations engineering. You will be responsible for ensuring that the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise needed to deliver expected gains from technology advancements.

You will initiate and implement EU-wide improvement activities, focusing on minimizing variation between shifts and regions. Your role will involve analyzing input metrics for each process path and prioritizing resources to achieve optimal results. You will also work alongside the FC Senior Leadership Team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
