Senior Infrastructure Engineer (ML/AI)

Who you are

You have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, particularly in managing Kubernetes clusters and workloads. Your expertise in Python is essential, and you are comfortable programming in additional languages such as Go, Ruby, or JavaScript. You are ready to communicate effectively in English with your colleagues and thrive in a collaborative environment.

You bring experience in cloud services, particularly with AWS, and have a solid understanding of deploying and managing applications in cloud environments. Your familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts will be beneficial as you work alongside the ML/AI team to enhance the platform's capabilities.

You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and finding innovative solutions. Your ability to work independently while also being a team player will help you succeed in this role. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies in the infrastructure and AI domains.

Desirable

Experience with additional tools such as Dagster is preferred, as it aligns with the team's focus on data orchestration and workflow management. Familiarity with other programming languages will also be a plus, as it allows for greater flexibility in project contributions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage Kubernetes clusters and ensure their optimal performance, specifically using AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS). You will collaborate with the ML/AI team to develop and deploy machine learning models and applications, contributing to the overall efficiency of the platform. Your responsibilities will include designing infrastructure solutions that support scalable applications and implementing best practices for cloud security and performance.

You will also be involved in automating deployment processes and monitoring system performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Your role will require you to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly, maintaining a seamless experience for users.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs. You will participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of the infrastructure landscape.
