Who you are

You are a leader with 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment, capable of training and developing a large group of employees while managing multiple production lines. You are results-driven and a problem solver, able to communicate with employees with tact and diplomacy. You thrive in a hands-on role, immersing yourself in the trenches to optimize productivity and promote growth. You are comfortable multitasking, tracking production, and maintaining productivity while being computer literate to input information effectively. You are adaptable to working in a cool and/or cold environment, ranging from 10º to 40º.

What you'll do

As an Area Manager, you will impact all aspects of production, cultivating a culture that is second to none. You will be responsible for communicating respectfully with all employees and leads, providing coaching and development to shift hourly associates. You will report information and update managers throughout every shift with knowledge of that day’s production. Resolving employee issues through appropriate problem resolution will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Additionally, you will manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the Associate Production Manager/Manager during the shift. You will also attend to other duties as assigned by management.
