DoorDash is hiring a Shift Lead to oversee operations at their DashMart local-fulfillment center in Mahwah, NJ. You'll be responsible for managing shifts, ensuring quality order fulfillment, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
You have experience in fast-paced, physical environments and are excited to engage in day-to-day operations. As a Shift Lead, you take ownership of your assigned shifts, ensuring that warehouse and kitchen processes are executed safely and efficiently. You maintain accountability for inventory and equipment, ensuring they are properly handled and protected from loss or theft. You are committed to delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and that communication with customers is handled effectively. You enjoy leading a team, guiding Operations Associates through their shifts to ensure productivity and safety.
In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders in a warehouse environment, which may include preparing food in a light-prep kitchen. You will oversee the daily operations of the DashMart, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and cleanliness standards. You will also be responsible for training new team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. Your leadership will be crucial in motivating your team to meet performance goals and deliver exceptional service to customers. You will communicate with management regarding any operational issues and work collaboratively to resolve them. Additionally, you will monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed, ensuring that the fulfillment center is always prepared to meet customer demand.
