Amazon is hiring a Data Center Technician to maintain and ensure seamless operations of AWS global infrastructure. You'll be involved in hardware and network diagnostics and repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of data center operations.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in technology and data center operations. You have a foundational understanding of hardware and network diagnostics, and you are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to ensure the highest standards of safety and security in data center operations. You are comfortable participating in an on-call rotation and are ready to tackle challenges that come your way.
Experience with cloud infrastructure or data center environments is a plus, but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies will set you apart. You should be proactive in seeking solutions and have a passion for maintaining critical systems that support millions of businesses worldwide.
As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure seamless data center operations. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to deliver the highest standards of service. You will be involved in troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. Your role will also require you to participate in an on-call rotation, responding to urgent issues as they arise to maintain continuous service for our customers.
