You are an entry-level professional eager to start your career in operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable following standard operating procedures (SOP) to solve client issues quickly. You are proactive in your approach, always acting in the best interest of the company by ensuring cost-conscious behavior and avoiding leakages. Your ability to coordinate seamlessly with internal and external partners is one of your key strengths.
As a Global Operations Associate at Flexport, you will be the front line in ensuring that shipments are handled with the utmost care and efficiency. You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of shipments and addressing any exceptions that arise, ensuring that operations run smoothly at both origin and destination.
You will work closely with steamship lines, air carriers, intermodal and drayage vendors, and customs to facilitate day-to-day logistics operations. Your role will involve escalating issues as needed to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded. You will also be tasked with analyzing operational performance and identifying areas for improvement to enhance service delivery.
