SpaceX is seeking extraordinary students for their Summer 2026 Engineering Internship/Co-op. Interns will work closely with mentors on impactful projects across various engineering teams. Candidates should be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math discipline.
You are a student currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics, or math discipline, eager to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting. You have demonstrated a commitment to academic success and possess the motivation to engage in hands-on projects that contribute to significant advancements in technology. Your background includes at least 3 months of applied engineering experience, whether through internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects. You are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, ensuring compliance with SpaceX's hiring requirements.
While not mandatory, any additional experience in engineering roles or related fields will enhance your application. A passion for space exploration and a desire to contribute to innovative projects at SpaceX will set you apart from other candidates.
As a Summer 2026 Engineering Intern/Co-op at SpaceX, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and mentors who will guide you through various projects.
