Amazon is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I to drive manual and automated testing for Prime Video Playback services. You'll work closely with software development engineers and contribute to enhancing the playback experience. This role requires experience in QA methodologies and testing frameworks.
You are an experienced QA engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing. You have a keen understanding of software development processes and are comfortable collaborating with software development engineers to grasp features and technical implementations. Your experience allows you to develop comprehensive test plans and suites that simulate real-world environments, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
You possess a solid understanding of quality assurance methodologies and are familiar with various testing frameworks. Your ability to work with cross-functional teams, including product management and UX designers, enables you to understand customer usage models and drive quality-centric methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are eager to embrace new technologies to enhance testing processes.
You have a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences, particularly in the context of streaming services. In this role, you will be responsible for driving manual and automated testing efforts within Prime Video Playback services.
