Who you are

You have a strong background in cloud security management, particularly within AWS environments, and possess the ability to lead security initiatives effectively. With a deep understanding of security policies and best practices, you are equipped to design and implement robust security measures across cloud infrastructures. Your experience with cloud security tools such as CNAPP, CSPM, and CWPP, particularly with platforms like Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud, sets you apart as a candidate. You are skilled in managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and enforcing least-privilege principles to maintain secure authentication mechanisms. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with DevOps, engineering, and product teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a DevSecOps approach to development.

You thrive in high-pressure environments and are adept at responding to cloud security incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective remediation measures. Your commitment to compliance with industry standards and frameworks, such as SEBI CSCRF and CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark, showcases your dedication to maintaining a secure cloud environment. As a mentor, you guide team members and promote a strong culture of cloud security across the organization, fostering an environment where security is prioritized.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms or security frameworks would be a plus, as would familiarity with emerging security technologies and trends. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new security challenges is highly valued.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of cloud security strategies, policies, and standards specifically tailored for AWS environments.
