You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining complex systems. Your expertise in Java and C# allows you to design scalable applications that meet user needs effectively. You are well-versed in .NET Core and ASP.NET, enabling you to contribute to the development of robust web applications. Your understanding of SQL helps you manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. You are passionate about code quality and advocate for best practices, including test automation and peer reviews. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge to help them grow.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration. A proactive approach to tackling technical debt and improving system performance is something you value.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and own significant parts of Kiavi's loan origination platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers. You will maintain a high quality bar by championing code quality through peer-reviewed designs and code, focusing on test automation using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical debt, allocating time to engineering initiatives that enhance system performance and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our platform, helping us provide faster and more reliable services to our clients. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
