Job Description

Join our Seasonal Events team as a Senior Category Manager to shape how millions of customers celebrate their favorite festivals and occasions. You'll develop and execute comprehensive strategies for major events like Diwali, Holi, and Christmas, ensuring customers find the perfect selection at great prices. This role combines strategic planning, analytical decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to create exceptional shopping experiences during India's most celebrated occasions.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end program management for seasonal events across multiple categories
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize selection, pricing, inventory, and marketing
• Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and develop compelling business cases
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer experience during key events
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve topical selection and performance

A day in the life
As a Senior Category Manager for Seasonal Events, you'll start your day reviewing performance metrics from ongoing campaigns. You'll then meet with your cross-functional team to strategize for upcoming festivals, balancing customer needs with business goals. Later, you might analyze competitor offerings, brainstorm new product ideas with vendors, or present your event strategy to leadership.

Join us in creating magical shopping experiences that bring joy to households across India.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and Excel
- Proven track record in project or program management
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams- MBA or advanced degree in a related field
- Experience in category management or buying in e-commerce or retail
- Strong understanding of Indian festivals and seasonal shopping trends
- Proficiency in SQL or other data manipulation tools
- Experience with P&L management and business case development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
