You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing systems that require high reliability and performance. Your background includes working on complex projects where you’ve contributed to both the design and implementation phases, ensuring that solutions are robust and scalable. You possess strong programming skills in Java, and you are comfortable working in a collaborative environment where you can share your insights and learn from others. You thrive in situations that require problem-solving and innovation, and you are eager to take ownership of your work. You understand the importance of integrating software with hardware systems, especially in high-stakes environments like aerospace.

Desirable

Experience with industrial control systems or aerospace applications would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices will help you adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Relativity, you will play a crucial role in the development of our Terran R vehicle, contributing to both software and systems integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including propulsion, manufacturing, and avionics, to ensure that our software solutions meet the rigorous demands of rocket technology. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing software components, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
