Yotpo is seeking a Staff Engineer to define and drive the technical vision for their eCommerce solutions. You'll work with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows to tackle complex challenges and elevate engineering practices. This role requires strong cloud-native skills and experience in high-traffic platforms.
You have extensive experience as a Staff Engineer, ideally with over 5 years in the field, and you understand the nuances of shaping long-term architectural visions that allow products to scale and evolve. Your role is not just about providing senior support; you are a strategic partner to Product Leadership, defining solutions to complex problems while elevating the skills and quality of your engineering team. You thrive at the intersection of business strategy and deep tech, ensuring that your technical decisions align with broader business goals.
You possess strong cloud-native skills, particularly with AWS and Kubernetes, and you are proficient in CI/CD workflows. You understand how to build systems that are observable, secure, and operationally excellent. Your experience in the eCommerce ecosystem or high-traffic B2B2C platforms is a significant advantage, as is your background in modernizing legacy systems while maintaining uptime. You are a force multiplier, tackling cross-team challenges and fostering a culture of excellence within your engineering team.
Experience with AI-powered solutions and a deep understanding of customer loyalty systems will set you apart. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and can adapt to the needs of a fast-paced eCommerce landscape.
