Google is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Sales Specialist to drive sales of data analytics technologies within the Google Cloud team. You'll leverage your extensive experience in enterprise software sales and work with tools like BigQuery and Looker. This role requires a strong background in sales and customer relationship management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in a sales role specifically within the enterprise software or cloud space. Your expertise includes selling data analytics or data management technologies to clients, and you have a proven track record of exceeding strategic business goals in a sales role. You excel at supporting executive relationships and developing new territories/accounts while ensuring customer success, adoption, and expansion. You are skilled at prioritizing and planning sales activities and transformation strategies that align with business cycles focused on data and analytics. Your experience includes collaborating with internal and external teams, such as account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to assess existing software estates, build transformation cases with implementation plans, and successfully close agreements. You possess a strong knowledge of trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and data analytics, including tools like BigQuery and Looker.
In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud Platform team, helping customers transform and build what's next for their businesses using cloud technology. You will develop solution roadmaps with customers, understanding their unique and complex requirements on both business and technical levels. Your responsibilities will include managing multiple customer relationships and opportunities simultaneously, ensuring you understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategy, growth plans, and business drivers. You will work closely with customers to identify how they can leverage Google Cloud technologies to transform their operations and achieve their business objectives. You will also engage in strategic discussions with executives to foster long-term partnerships and drive customer success. Your role will involve continuous learning about the evolving landscape of data analytics technologies and how they can be applied to meet customer needs effectively.
