Overview

UpGuard is seeking a Vice President Sales for the EMEA region to drive revenue growth and lead the sales team. This role requires strong leadership skills and a proven track record in scaling sales operations.

Who you are

You are a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in managing and scaling sales teams across diverse markets. With a strong background in the technology sector, you understand the nuances of selling complex solutions and can effectively communicate value to clients. You have a proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets and building high-performing teams that thrive in competitive environments. Your leadership style is hands-on, and you enjoy coaching and mentoring your team to success. You are strategic in your approach, capable of developing and executing a multi-product go-to-market strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of a scale-up environment and are adept at building relationships with key stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience in cybersecurity or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with the EMEA market dynamics. You have a network of contacts within the industry that can help accelerate growth. A strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and sales analytics will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As the Vice President Sales for EMEA, you will be responsible for the overall sales strategy and execution in the region. You will lead a team of Account Executives, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed. Your role will involve refining the sales motion to ensure it is repeatable and scalable, focusing on building a strong foundation for future growth. You will work closely with other departments, including marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with broader company objectives. In the first 12 to 24 months, you will be deeply involved in the sales process, actively engaging with clients and closing deals. Over time, you will transition into a more strategic role, focusing on long-term planning and team development. You will be accountable for revenue generation and will report directly to the executive team, providing insights and updates on performance metrics.
