Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the technology or IoT sectors — you understand the nuances of selling to mid-sized businesses and can navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. You are comfortable engaging with executives and CXOs, demonstrating the value of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate technical concepts clearly and persuasively. You thrive in a remote work environment and are self-motivated, managing your time effectively to meet sales targets. You are adaptable and can adjust your approach based on customer feedback and market trends.
Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space is a plus, as is familiarity with sensor data applications. A background in industries such as transportation, construction, or manufacturing would be beneficial, as you will be engaging with clients from these sectors. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your sales strategies and decisions.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mid-sized customers, helping them understand how Samsara's IoT solutions can transform their operations. You will manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for your clients. You will conduct product demonstrations and proof of concepts, showcasing the benefits of our technology. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms, working closely with various internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of our solutions. You will also track your sales activities and results, using CRM tools to manage your pipeline effectively. Regular travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry events, approximately 25% of your time.
