What you'll do

As an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of operations at the Starship rocket development and test site. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to perform safety reviews of hazardous operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.

You will lead incident investigations, conducting thorough analyses to identify root causes and develop effective corrective actions. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and NIOSH guidelines, and you will collaborate with department leadership to implement health and safety policies and procedures.

In this role, you will develop and maintain safety and health programs, including those related to OSHA general industry and construction standards. You will conduct job hazard assessments and work with teams to implement necessary safety measures.
