Databricks is seeking a Finance Manager to join their FP&A team, focusing on strategic financial analysis and partnership with the GTM team. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in hyper-growth environments.
You have a strong background in finance, particularly in financial analysis, and have experienced the challenges and opportunities that come with hyper-growth environments. You possess the ability to independently solve complex problems and communicate effectively with senior leadership, showcasing your executive presence. You are skilled at gathering and summarizing large amounts of data to facilitate efficient decision-making processes. Your experience allows you to nurture trusted partnerships across various teams, including Sales, Finance, and Data Science, ensuring collaborative efforts lead to impactful outcomes.
Experience in building and maintaining financial and operational models is a plus, as it helps in understanding real-time forecasts for key financial metrics. You are adept at proposing and implementing solutions that drive key financial metrics in partnership with the GTM team, and you have a knack for guiding process improvements and standardization efforts.
In this role, you will strategically assess consumption growth drivers and partner with the GTM team to drive impact. You will lead the end-to-end recommendation process, ensuring that your analytical solutions are communicated through clear narratives and presentations. You will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models that provide insights into real-time forecasts, enabling the organization to make informed decisions. Your role will also involve finding creative solutions to data challenges, enhancing reporting capabilities, and installing proper controls to streamline processes.
