Job Description

Powering Performance Marketplaces in Digital Media

QuinStreet is a pioneer in powering decentralized online marketplaces that match searchers and “research and compare” consumers with brands. We run these virtual- and private-label marketplaces in one of the nation’s largest media networks.

Our industry leading segmentation and AI-driven matching technologies help consumers find better solutions and brands faster. They allow brands to target and reach in-market customer prospects with pinpoint segment-by-segment accuracy, and to pay only for performance results.

Our campaign-results-driven matching decision engines and optimization algorithms are built from over 20 years and billions of dollars of online media experience.

We believe in:

  • The direct measurability of digital media.
  • Performance marketing. (We pioneered it.)
  • The advantages of technology.

We bring all this together to deliver truly great results for consumers and brands in the world’s biggest channel.

Job Category

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive team member who’s excited to learn the ins and outs of product management while helping keep our technical delivery process running smoothly across multiple time zones.

In this hybrid role, you’ll support product planning, manage the tech queue, and coordinate day-to-day sprint activities — including collaboration with our offshore development team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product career who enjoys both organization and teamwork, and who wants to grow into a full product management or delivery lead position.

Responsibilities

Product & Planning Support

  • Assist in defining and documenting product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Help prioritize the product backlog and make sure engineering work aligns with business goals.
  • Collaborate with product leads and stakeholders to gather input and translate it into actionable tasks.
  • Track and communicate progress across initiatives to keep everyone informed.

Tech Queue & Sprint Coordination

  • Own day-to-day backlog management and ticket organization in Jira
  • Coordinate sprint ceremonies, planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives, across both onshore and offshore teams (India).
  • Track sprint goals, progress, and blockers, escalating issues when needed.
  • Maintain clear visibility into project timelines and team commitments.
  • Partner with tech leads to balance roadmap work, tech debt, and quick wins.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Document key learnings, decisions, and improvements from each sprint.
  • Help identify opportunities to streamline delivery processes or improve team communication.
  • Support data-driven decisions by tracking metrics like sprint velocity and completion rates.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in product coordination, project management, QA, or technical operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across distributed teams.
  • Ability to manage overlapping priorities and coordinate across time zones.
  • Interest in learning product management, agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to software development or technology-driven projects.
  • Experience running or supporting sprint ceremonies.
  • Basic understanding of how product decisions translate into technical work.

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $115,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
