Tanium is seeking an Applied AI Engineer II to design, develop, and deploy AI Agents and machine learning models. You'll work with technologies like Python and CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid role based in Durham, NC.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a CS degree. With over 3 years of professional experience, you have proven expertise as an AI Developer or AI Engineer, showcasing your ability to tackle complex business problems through innovative AI solutions. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring that AI solutions are seamlessly integrated into existing systems and workflows. Your experience includes optimizing and fine-tuning AI models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency, demonstrating your commitment to delivering high-quality results. You stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, ensuring that your skills remain relevant in a rapidly evolving field.
As an Applied AI Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI Agents and machine learning models that address complex business challenges. You will create and maintain backend systems for large language models (LLMs) and AI Agents, ensuring they operate with high performance and scalability. Your role will involve implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of AI models and AI Agents, allowing for efficient updates and improvements. You will monitor and troubleshoot AI systems in production, ensuring their reliability and robustness. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with product management and customers to gather feedback and iterate on product designs.
