Software Engineer II, Backend (Infrastructure)

You are comfortable creating and monitoring metrics to support the operations and availability of your team's artifacts. Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure management is a plus. Familiarity with financial systems or cost analysis can enhance your contributions to the team. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve your work and the team's performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will break down larger projects into manageable tasks and deliver them in multiple phases. You will collaborate closely with your team’s tech lead and manager to ensure that your work aligns with the overall project goals. You will participate in ideation sessions with product management and design, articulating technical constraints and partnering on decisions that consider risks and trade-offs. Your contributions will help drive the success of the Cost Engineering Team as you work to enhance financial visibility and cost efficiency across the cloud infrastructure.

You will also support the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring relevant metrics. When issues arise, you will escalate them as needed and participate in on-call efforts to ensure that systems remain operational. Your role will involve contributing to a sense of community within your team, engaging in growth and development activities, and supporting the interview process to help attract top talent.
