You will own Manga services and features on Amazon JP website across all web and mobile apps. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences as well as backend services, a strong technical ability, mentoring, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
- You will own and deliver new feature experiments from inception to delivery and beyond.
- You will launch features that deliver customer value and fail fast if it doesn't.
- You are responsible for the designing the architecture of software solutions.
- You will innovate on new concepts, look for ways to maximize reuse of existing services, and delivering beautiful, highly performant customer experiences.
- You will work with cross-functional, geographically diverse development teams through design, delivery and support.
- Ability to work with sensitive content, including culturally sensitive and adult content- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
