Carvana is seeking an Autobody Prep Technician to prepare vehicles for paint, including tasks like sanding and buffing. This entry-level position requires a minimum of 6 months of automotive prepping experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.
You have at least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that vehicles are prepped to the highest standards before painting. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when needed to meet business demands. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
While not required, any additional certifications in automotive repair or prep work would be a plus. Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technologies in automotive repair is also beneficial.
As an Autobody Prep Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing advanced tools to ensure that each vehicle meets our quality standards. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure timely delivery of vehicles. You will also participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and advance your career within the company.
