Who you are

You are currently enrolled in a short-term college, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral program, and you are expected to graduate by the end of March 2028. You are eager to participate in a 3-month on-site internship starting in June or August 2026, and you have less than 24 months of professional experience in the technology field, excluding internships, research, or military service. You possess a strong interest in machine learning and its applications in autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (AD/ADAS).

You are a proactive individual who thrives in collaborative environments, ready to work closely with the machine learning team to accelerate the development and expansion of ML technologies. You are passionate about using cutting-edge technology to solve real-world challenges and improve mobility for everyone. You have a mindset of giving and a strong awareness of providing solutions for product development.

Desirable

You have a keen interest in the impact of autonomous driving technology on society and are excited about the opportunity to develop machine learning models for recognition, prediction, and path planning. You are open to learning from experienced engineers and are committed to contributing to innovative projects that aim to enhance mobility.

What you'll do

During your internship, you will be integrated into the ML platform team, where you will collaborate with talented engineers from around the world. You will work on significant projects that contribute to the development of machine learning technologies for AD/ADAS. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of machine learning models and participating in discussions about their deployment in millions of Toyota vehicles.

You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors who will guide you through the intricacies of machine learning and its applications in the automotive industry. You will engage in hands-on projects that challenge you to apply your knowledge and skills in a practical setting, fostering your growth as an engineer.
