Celonis is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive sales in the Food Retail sector. You'll engage with C-level executives and manage strategic accounts to ensure renewals and generate new business opportunities. This role requires 8-12 years of relevant experience.

Who you are

You have 8-12 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a sales role within the technology or SaaS industry. Your background includes a strong understanding of consultative sales approaches and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. You thrive in a collaborative environment, engaging with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and drive sales success. Your experience includes managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals, demonstrating your ability to navigate the intricacies of enterprise sales.

You are skilled at engaging with C-level executives and have a proven track record of driving revenue growth through strategic account management. Your consultative approach allows you to identify customer pain points and tailor solutions that align with their business objectives. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving your sales targets.

Desirable

Experience in the Food Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with process intelligence technology. You have a network of contacts within the industry and understand the competitive landscape, which enables you to position your solutions effectively. A background in working with consulting firms and SaaS vendors will further enhance your ability to drive partnerships and expand your customer base.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing strategic accounts within the Food Retail sector, focusing on both existing customers and new business opportunities. You will apply a consultative sales approach to understand your accounts' needs and drive the end-to-end sales cycle. Your responsibilities will include engaging with cross-line-of-business stakeholders at C-level and below, representing the entire Celonis process intelligence platform, and holding an individual revenue target for closing six- to seven-figure deals.

You will collaborate closely with partners, including consulting firms and other SaaS vendors, to enhance your sales efforts and provide comprehensive solutions to your clients. Your role will involve orchestrating virtual teams that include business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, customer success managers, and professional services teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will be expected to cultivate relationships with your accounts, ensuring renewals and identifying opportunities for expansion. Your ability to drive complex sales cycles will be critical to your success, as you will need to navigate various stakeholders and align their interests with the solutions you offer. You will also be responsible for tracking your sales performance and reporting on your progress towards achieving your targets.
