Overview

Relativity is seeking a Staff Avionics Hardware Engineer to design and build the hardware for their Terran R vehicle. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of avionics systems, ensuring they meet the demands of modern rocket technology. This role requires expertise in avionics hardware design and development.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Staff Avionics Hardware Engineer at Relativity, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the avionics systems for the Terran R vehicle. This includes designing, building, testing, and operating the hardware that connects and controls every major electrical system on the rocket and ground. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the avionics systems are integrated effectively with propulsion, manufacturing, and software components.

You will lead efforts to innovate and improve existing avionics designs, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the launch vehicle and its customers. Your role will involve conducting rigorous testing and validation of avionics hardware to ensure reliability and performance under various conditions.

You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the development and operational phases, applying your expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R program and the future of space exploration.
