Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management, particularly within the aviation sector, and possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Your passion for customer satisfaction drives you to go above and beyond to ensure that clients are happy and their needs are met. You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple complex agreements simultaneously. Your technical expertise and industry knowledge allow you to guide customers effectively in utilizing the Starlink system to its fullest potential.

You are skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, adept at coordinating technical and contractual changes to meet customer requirements. You understand the importance of communication and are able to convey readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks clearly to your clients. Your proactive approach ensures that you identify potential issues before they arise, allowing you to maintain a positive relationship with your customers.

You are results-oriented, with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Your analytical skills enable you to monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary. You are comfortable working independently and take ownership of your assigned accounts, ensuring that all contract terms are fulfilled and that customers receive the highest level of service.

Desirable

Experience in the satellite communications industry or a similar technology-driven field would be advantageous. Familiarity with broadband internet services and their application in aviation is a plus. You may also have a background in project management, which helps you coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.

What you'll do

As the Enterprise Account Manager for SpaceX's Starlink aviation team, you will be the primary point of contact for assigned aviation customers. You will manage large and complex agreements, ensuring that all contract terms are fulfilled and that customers are satisfied with their service. Your role will involve resolving issues, negotiating requirements, and coordinating technical and contractual changes as needed.

You will utilize your technical expertise to guide customers in achieving high levels of performance with the Starlink system. This includes monitoring system performance, investigating any issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for communicating readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to your clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the process.

Your focus on revenue growth will drive you to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to your customers. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that any challenges are addressed promptly. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships will be key to your success in this role.
